Claire Lois Nickerson of Palm City, Fla., passed away Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, at Jupiter Medical Center. She was 66.
Born in Bristol, she had been a resident of Palm City for 14 years, having moved from Edgely, Pa.
She was the co-owner of Martin County Marina in Palm City.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Thomas Nickerson of Palm City; her daughters, Tammi and her husband, Lawrence Faust Sr., of Levittown and Sandi Nickerson and her fiancee, Norman Beatty, of Palm City; her grandson, Lawrence Faust Jr. of Palm City; and granddaughter, Samantha Faust of Levittown. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Daisy Rifon.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
