Albert J. Baker of Levittown passed away Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Chandler Hall in Newtown. He was 67.

Born in Bristol, he was a lifelong area resident.

Prior to his retirement, Albert was employed as a tractor trailer mechanic working at RAKO in Bensalem and M and M Trailer in Morrisville.

He was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bristol.

Albert was a member of the Penn Warner Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends hunting and fishing, especially at the New Jersey shore. He enjoyed NASCAR and was a fan of Jeff Gordon. He also liked going to the California Speedway at Fontana, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nellie Baker and his aunts, Ada and Catherine Bustraan.

He is survived by his wife, Mabel Baker; his daughter, Sandra Baker of Yardley; his son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Doris Baker, of Redlands, Calif.; his beloved grandson, John; and his faithful companion, Buster Boy.

Family and friends are invited to attend his service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, at Molden Funeral Chapel, 133 Otter St., Bristol, Pa. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. on Thursday until the time of the service

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mission Fund of Calvary Baptist Church, 250 Green Lane, Bristol, PA 19007.
