Lawrence F Catania

"Larry" passed away Jan. 6, 2016. He was born July 13, 1942.

Larry was a Renaissance man. He came to Florida in the 1970s and began a life in construction.
Building wasn't just his life, it was his art form. He left his signature on many buildings across Florida.

Larry is survived by his son, Lawrence (Shauna) Bordentown, NJ; daughter, Joelle Cote (Deleston), Lithia; daughter, Jennifer Ahearn (Michael), St. Petersburg; son, Christopher (Adrienne), Pasadena; and and his seven grandchildren, Nia and Vito Catania, Alexandra, Cade, Clay, and Parker Cote, and Maximilian Ahearn. He will be greatly missed by his brother, Vincent (Helen); sister, Cynthia Zabielski (Tom); and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was pre deceased by his parents, Vito and Grace; and his loving brother, Gerald "Jerry" Catania (Anna), June 21, 2015.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Jan. 22, 12:30 pm, at Saint John Vianney Parrish, 445 82nd Ave., St. Pete Beach 33706,
with interment following at 2:15 pm, at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., St. Petersburg 33708.
