John J. Davidson

John J. Davidson, a resident of Levittown for more than 50 years, passed away Monday, March 16, 2009, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

John was a U.S. Army veteran, who served with the 82nd Airborne Division from 1961 through 1964. He was a retired employee of Cattani Beverages in Bristol, and also from Combined Express of Bensalem. He was a member of Knights of Columbus St. Joseph the Worker Council 1492, American Legion Post 960, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6495 of Levittown and the Bristol Moose Lodge 1169.

He was the son of the late William and Mary Walsh Davidson of Kingston, Pa.; the beloved husband of the late Patricia Laird Davidson; loving father of Dale Davidson and his wife, Carri, Mary Bogan and her husband, Dan, and William Davidson. He also is survived by five loving grandchildren: Ryan, Tyler, Mark, Kennedy and Alexis. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Davidson.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Burns Funeral Home, 1514 Woodbourne Road, Levittown, followed by his funeral service at 8:30 p.m. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
