Helen Adams wife of classmate Pat Adams

Helen Dame Adams, 72, of Madisonville, KY passed away Wednesday, November 30, 20 16 at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville.

She was born March 15, 1944 in Louisville, KY to the late Claude Bennett Dame an d Dixie McGregor Dame.

Mrs. Adams was a school teacher for 31 years, teaching at Hanson, Browning Sprin gs, and James Madison. She was a member and the organist at First Cumberland Pre sbyterian Church of Madisonville. She was a Madisonville Miners baseball fan. Sh e loved spoiling her grand daughter. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Pat Adams; one son, Heath (Natalie) Adams of Madisonville; one grand daughter, Claire Lynn Adams; and one cousin, Sa ra Alice Setzer of Gaffney, SC.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Barnett-S trother Funeral Home with Rev. Shelley Hunt officiating. Burial will take place at Rosecreek Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:30 A.M. unti l service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tom Rodgers, Bill Blaylock, Tom Jones, Kenny Stewart, Rick P ryor, and Jim Eaves.
