Sallie A. Shellhamer of Levittown died peacefully in her home Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014. She was 72.
Born in Philadelphia, Sallie resided in Levittown for most of her life.
She worked in customer service with Proctor and Gamble for 25 years until retiring in 2006.
She was a dedicated Girl Scout leader for more than 30 years. She enjoyed knitting and crafting, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
Sallie was the loving mother of Linda Merz (Kenneth), Nancy Fletcher (Frederick) and Stephen Shellhamer (Christina). She was the devoted grandmother of Amanda, Eric, Casandra, Noah and Adam; and great-grandmother of Greyson and Kinley. She also will be missed by her sister, Rae Springman (Robert); and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 9 Old Locust Ave., Fallsington where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 215 Appletree Dr., Levittown, PA 19055.
