William H. EdwardsWilliam H. Edwards of Levittown passed away Monday, July 18, 2016. He was 74.
Born in Bristol to the late Leslie and Lorraine Edwards, he grew up in the Maple Beach section of Bristol before moving to Levittown.
William was a retired manager of 30 years for Household Finance then worked as a security guard at the Penn Warner Club and was also an officer for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission for many years. He was very active in many local activities including being past president of the Penndel Wildcats Football League, Penndel Men's Softball League, and the Penn Warner Club. William enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing and watching his grandchildren play baseball, run track and field, and dance recitals.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Edna Mae (Kutzer) Edwards of Levittown. his children, William Edwards, Kevin Edwards and wife Chrissy, and Kristy Edwards; brother, Jack Edwards; sister, Sandra Nelson; his grandchildren, Ryanne, William, Nicholas, Lindsay and Matthew; and two great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at Emmaus Road Lutheran Church, 2185 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19054, with a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's name to Emmaus Road Lutheran Church.
